i repowered from an 02 200 hpdi to a in line 200 four stroke. engines are about same weight. a little getting used to hole shot, played with props for awhile, but very happy with the engine. if i remember right the sho was heavier.

Good luck,

I took my boat to the dealership in October , just got it back this month, I went with a 200 hp inline 4, not the SHO ,

I would say find a motor in stock someplace. Do not believe them when they say " we will have your motor in 60 days "
60 days turns into 6 months. ( my motor was supposed to be shipped in Nov, then January ,then March, )
I got tired of being put off , and bought a motor online from a shop in California.

I got the digital controls , really like them so far, ( still in the break in period )
