Inflatable dinghy?

Inflatable dinghy? - 03/26/21 01:41 AM

Got to go fishing on a co-workers bass boat the other weekend and it really makes me want a boat, because I've had zero luck with bank fishing. Storage is a big issue and I also want start small/cheap to an extent. Have recently come across the idea of a Inflatable dinghy. I'm talking one of those U shaped boats with either a inflated floor or solid floor. I can find videos of people fishing on them in what I think is the ocean, but what about a lake? I wondered about hitting/rubbing a tree or hooking your own boat. Has anyone ever seen one on a lake before? Good brands? IDK if I would go straight to a spotlock for the transom or start with a cheap trolling motor or a sub $1000 outboard. But I would really like a nice $800~ fishfinder/gps. Even though I really don't know much about them. Just trying to work out the base logistics before getting to the finer details.

Thanks,
Swyt

I cannot imagine it being anything but utter frustration.
This is Texas, the wind blows more than not. That inflatable boat would be like a empty sack of potato chips than not.
