Is anyone else with an older boat having a hard time trying to find someone that will work on a 1998 outboard. Seems like if its older than a 2000 mechanics won't touch it.

Man I’m running a 1996 150 Johnson and my guy keeps it running like a top. There are some good mechanics out there!

I have a 1997 Evinrude 115 Intruder. Never had an issue getting someone to help with it, but it's had very few problems and it's been years since I've had it in the shop.
What's going on with yours?

i have a complete blown engine with rebuild able block, only scorn pistons If you need any parts.
