Fuel sending unit?

Hey everyone, first time here. Has anyone had to to replace a sending unit on a 01' 22' Gambler? From what I can tell the tank won't slide back far enough to put the new one in.

lakeforkfisherman is the only one on here I know of that owns a gambler.
