Motor title - 07/27/20 03:10 AM

So what issues would I run across if I put a outboard on my boat that don’t have a title

It could end up being seized as stolen property.

If the seller either never titled it, or lost the title, a notarized bill of sale will start the process on getting you legal with the bureaucrats. You can file for lost title and start the long trip down a dark hole.

sorry pat, but the TPWD is the worst State Dept EVER to work with. They will flat out laugh in your face without a title. Dead End Road..
I do agree with TLW .... NEVER once in 30 years of boat ownership, have I been asked about my motor. I buy and sell motors ALL the time without Titles.
Don't sweat it !
IF.... you want a title on it. I can get you one. Not Free though. Sorry.
