Mercury 150 XR6 carb tuning / mechanic

Looking for somebody in the dfw area to help get an older merc running good again
Carb xr6 with some mods
Anyone know anybody?
I know there were a lot of drag boat guys that worked on these things

any idea on year?.. what kinda "mods"?.. bolt on and/or machined mods?

All bolt on type stuff (it's not anything crazy)

good thing is its a switch box motor.. helps... what kinda boat?

I'm not trying to make it a drag boat
But it needed some ignition upgrades last yr (stator failed) so I went through everything on it replaced a bunch of stuff
The goal was just to make it reliable and not have to worry about anything for a few yrs (hopefully)
And now I cant get it to come up on it's own takes a lot of finesse if I can even get it to run
