I need to replace my motor mounted oil reservoir, the nearest merc service shop is 75 miles away. I don’t particularly want to drive 150 miles to have a oil pump prime sequence done. Is there a reason not to do the shifter break in reset method? I know it’ll foul the plugs, but they are prob due anyways.
