2019 ETEC 115hp

Brand new motor....took it out today. It stalled twice from mid range (3K rpm) and was impossible to start after the first fishing stop. Very concerned. Dealer not open til Tuesday, so just bouncing ideas here.

Fuel Pump?

Was FINALLY able to get it to start by pumping the bulb. Don't want to go out again til it is figured out.

Check your tank vent.

What should happen when I pull the fuel filler cap if the tank vent system is working?

Going to replace the fuel filter. Just cuz it's cheap.
