I have two solid plugs and 1 small. Hole shot is a little slow.. Top speed is there, I actually could squeeze another 300 rpm out of it. But the water has to be colder. But since i switched to Lithium batteries, I am working on the setup again.

lot's of guys run 27's on 250's.. BUT>>>>> That's going to depend on which BOAT you have.

Yeah, what you're running it on is what dictates what prop you're using.
I could turn a 32 on my Allison, but you can't on most bass hulls.
A 22' bay boat might only turn a 21 with a 250, so it's all relevant.

Got to start with something known.
What prop are you running now, and what is it doing?

I bent an ear on my 25p Fury. I have an old spare 27p someone gave me and I was gonna use it until the 25 was fixed

You’ll usually drop 200-300 rpms for each inch of pitch change. So expect that.

like Pat said. if your 25 was running , lets say... 5800 rpms at wot
then the exact same prop in a 27 will turn 400 less rpms and could be slightly slower on the hole shot.
now.. if that 27p is a tempest.. then you can run it about 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher on the jack plate. that will gain you some
lost rpm back. as the larger diameter tempest can run higher than a fury.

So the answer is yes you can run it.
Are you going to like the results ?
Highly unlikely.

That's a great offer and I appreciate it. I'm gonna try this 27p first. It's only for a few weeks
