2017 STRATOS 201XL EVOLUTION Vs OTHER

I found a STRATOS 2017 201XL Evolution. Has less than 100 hrs and has warranty on 250 optimax until 2025.
I think I can pick it up for 40k. I’m concerned about price and quality. For 40k can I get a better newer boat? If you had 35-40k what is the best boat and age I can buy.

good boat an motor best thing is motor warranty probly not going to find a much better deal.

Thank you both. I really appreciate your inputs. Super pumped up about buying the boat. I’m actually getting it for 38,500. It’s going to cost me 700 to upgrade to the platinum merc warranty. And then it’s going to cost another 3000 to get full warranty out to 2025.

Should I go ahead and buy the platinum warranty. That seems like a lot of money. For an additional 3 years. It’s the two stroke so people are telling me they are cheaper to work on but. That would put the motor under warranty into 5/25. And the boat itself until 5/27.

Seems like a no brained. But I’m not sure how warranty’s work or if they are worth it.

At the price you’re getting the boat at, yes buy the warranty.
