2013 250 PRO XS TRIM DOWN ISSUE

I cannot trim DOWN from the switch at the steering column, but I can trim DOWN from the switch on the side of the motor. Trim UP works from both switches. 2 weeks ago it broke then it was fine for a week, now broke again. Is it a relay in the trim motor? If so anyone know the procedure to replace them? Anyone know the part number for the correct relay? Do I need to bleed the fluid and support the motor in the up position to change these relays? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like you just have a bad trim switch at the steering column.

If you had a bad relay, the switch on the motor wouldnt work either

Just an update it was not the switch it was one of the wires got trapped and pinched over time before it broke in 2, hence the intermittent power before it completely broke apart.
