89 Evirude 100 missing at wot

Hey Guys,

I have an 89 Evinrude 100 that misses at wot, it doesn't die and almost immediately jumps back up, but it will do it several times in a run across choppy water, it does it more when the bigger bumps are felt. Last year I replaced the plugs, coils, power pack, and wires. Carbs were rebuilt 2 years ago. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

Like all problems, could be a handful of things, but i’d start with your throttle linkage and make sure everything is tight. Just saying this because you say it happens in rough water; sounds like something is moving when jarred. If it happens all the time, then could be

a number of things. Sorry, hit submit button on accident...

Maybe check all your ground wires also.
