Have a friend that has older johnson 150 jumping out of reverse

Who is best choice to get it repaired he is in Cisco Tx area but willing to travel.

Could just need adjusting. Pull the cowling, loosen the 3/8ths bolt holding the cable lock, then turn the adjustment barrel the direction to move the cable end toward reverse. It is possible the cable may be stretching or you have gear problems. Sandy Creek Marina at Hubbard Creek.
