Ok....dork question....

How do I tell what size my jackplate is?

It's original to my 2003 Skeeter TZX190 and I have a 4-stroke 150 Yamaha motor.

I only know that it's a slide Master.

measure from the transom straight back to the clamp mount.

I will try to post a couple of mine, it works great. This is before I finished securing my cable, but it does everything he says it does and I love the location of my transducer.

The skid plate will definitely help your hole shot. My Seaark gats a three second hole shot to plane and hits 4500 RPM and that's with the weight of the motor, me and three batteries at the stern. The plate also keeps me from taking water over the transom when launching on a steep ramp or when going too fast in reverse.

Another advantage (and the reason I always have one on a manual jackplate) it keeps that 3" stump you ran over just under the water from coming up in that hole and pegging you like a butterfly in a collection
