Drop shot rods and reels

Have purchased 2 rods but can't decide on reels. Any suggestions?

What is your budget and how long are your rods? For 6'10" or shorter, I'd go with a 1000 size reel. However I'm probably in the minority, as that is a more Japanese styling. For Western anglers, 2500 is probably the go-to. I personally use a Shimano Stradic CI4+ 2500. Although I do have the Pflueger President (size 30) and Shimano Sienna (2500) on my budget spinning combos.

I'm a Shimano guy, so my recommendations are budget: Sienna (I prefer the President, but the Sienna is no slouch for $30, espectially if there is no strong reason to spend more), mid-range: Shimano Nasci or Daiwa Fuego ($99), high-end: Stradic ($220ish).
