Centrifugal brakes

Is anyone familiar with this type of centrifugal brake. Curious how they work compared to the other push pull types.

They work with magnets. The higher the number you set it on the more the magnets align which slows down the spool more. If you put it on say the number 6 then that would compare to pulling out more of the pins on the older style break systems. Hope this helps.

Start with no.2 and go throw a few times to see if it's too fast or too slow and go from there. Like basspro99 said the higher the no. the slower it should be when casting. Your going to have to figure what line size and weight if any and of course hook and just play with it till you get what you like.
