Spinning reel line twist solution - 05/18/08 09:47 AM

I am about to try out some of Sufix's new line made just for spinning reel. Promix is constructed to that line twist issues are a thing of the past. I'll report on how it works for me.

Is it a braid?

Please let us know how it performs.

That is a very interesting premise that the line is responsible for the twist. I always thought it was the nature of the spinning reel.

Sounds like a "twist" on advertising to me, but I would really like to know if it makes a difference.

Try it and give us a report.

I went to 20# Power Pro braid and it stops the twist. Guess it is just the nature of braid, not sure why but makes a Spinning rig usable for me.

If you load it properly and use a good reel with a roller bearing instead of bushing, line twist is not an issue on spinning equipment.
