Hey Guys:

I bought a Shimano Chronarch 150XG last year from a TFF guy and I've maybe used it 6 times and it's acting all kinds of crazy. Feels crunchy when I wind the spool.

Anyway, I called Southwest Parts and they are 10 weeks out for repair.

Anybody know another local place to get this Shimano reel repaired?

Maybe Steve-O's reel service advertised on this site. I bet he can repair it or give you some good advice. Seems to do good work.

This, just sent him my reel and had it back in under two weeks. Was cheaper than original quote also.
