Shimano Handle Nut Retainer

Shimano Handle Nut Retainer - 04/29/21 07:41 PM

Has anyone found a good aftermarket Nut Retainer for Shimano reels ? I have several Chronarch 100D reels and that nut retainer (BNT3906) is a really cheap version that cracks/breaks quite often.

I’ll check but I think the 13 fishing stuff is compatible

I found some off ebay a while back. Used it on my 14Scorpion. Red anodized nut and a retainer. Nice looking, and quality for cheap. Lots of colors. The Daiwa, Doyo, Banax reels retainers and nuts wont work.

Are they the black nut?

Shimano does make a better one that doesn't crack when you over tighten it.

No it’s the little plastic chrome cap like is found on the citica G series...the 13 fishing ones do fit though
