Replacing rod grips?

Replacing rod grips? - 03/13/21 08:15 PM

I have a couple of rods that I really like the action and weight but they have EVA foam grips and they are really small. I would like to find someone that can replace the foam with cork grips. I am south of Dallas. Any recommendations for someone that can do this? I can go pretty much anywhere in DFW.

Man I bought one of the Shimano Zodias rods and the foam handles on them are way too small.

I didn;t think they would be but after using it a couple times it is.

I have thought about applying some Winn Grip Tape to it and see if that helps.

If not I might have to do something else. confused 3

I have learned I am not a fan of the EVA grips period. The Winn wraps helped but they don’t last long. I ended up selling the rods with the EVA foam and will replace with cork grip rods.
