BLACK MAX REEL

I have a Black Max reel that is left hand retrieve but will only turn BACKWARDS.

Any suggestions on what is wrong and how to fix it?

Clutch bearing installed backwards.

So would that cause the line to spool on the reel over the top of the spool or under it? hmmm confused 3
