Best spinning combo under $50?

any suggestions for the best spinning combo $50 or under?

the Abu Garcia Black max and the Ugly stik are the main two i'm looking at right now. Just wanting some general purpose combos that would be an upgrade from my old Zebco spinning rods.

I have one of each. They are both worth the money and perform complaint free. I've found 14 lbs mono to run the best on both. Go smaller if you're after crappie or smaller.

If you can wait until the Bass Pro/Cabelas spring clearance; they usually put a Pfleuger President combo on sale for $39-$49.

We have had good luck with the GX2 uglystick combo from wally world at the 40.00 dollar mark . When the kids get snagged they get pretty rough with them , we have not had a broken rod yet . No problems landing a bass that has 5 lbs of weeds wrapped around it .
