I am looking to pickup a new RH Crankbait reel, looking for a slower model (5.6:1, etc..) in the $100 - $200 range , what are your favorites? I have mostly Lews reels but I am open to other options.
Lews super duty or revo winch

I would like to find one in the 4.5 range, with all of the companies you would think some one would build them.
This is what I am leaning towards right now, Lews Super Duty!

My favorite is a discontinued Daiwa Lexa 100P. Aluminum frame with 4.9:1 gears. They show up every now a then on EBay.

I have a BUNCH of Curado B 5's, but they are not for sale. Best CB reel I have found. II think I have 11 or 12 left, 2 still in the box. BEST CB REEL ever, in my opinion, butwhat do I know, I only have 5 published CB articles. The Lews is not a bad reel, either. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Years ago I had the folks at SouthWest Parts and Service off Mockingbird build me a couple of "Custom Cranking Reels". They had the outer body of a normal reel (Ambassador) and put guts in for a 3.8 to 1 for deep cranking. I still have them and use them today. It might be worth a call to see if they can get you fixed up. From what I remember it wasn't that expensive either.

I'm with the Shinano B5 Guy ! Best Crankin reels ever, last forever If taken care of. I have a bunch of em myself ! They're on Ebay all the time. Also the Shimano B38 3:8 to 1 for really deep crankin. Not as easy to find on Ebay but they do get listed from time to time.
