Fishing Brackish/inshore salt flats/bass combo help

Fished in college then someone stole my two poles ended up buying a H20Xpress mettle baitcaster and a 6’7” MH rod. I have up to 15lb braid I can put on it, but had them spool 14lb fluorocarbon line. Any of you guys have experience with this set-up or something similar?

h20 xpress is a bombproof reel. I do have those $200+ reels, but those H20 Mettles have refused to quit in straight saltwater use.. Great reels!

I'll tell anybody that wants a reel under $100 to get a Mettle. You can't kill them
