I have a 1198 at the console and I just installed a lowrance chirp 7 with 2d and di only at the console as well . I now get feed back on both units . What can I do to fix this?

Use 83 kHz with the Lowrance and don't turn on 83 kHz with the Humminbird.
You may not get cross-talk much with the imaging. Just when you turn the trolling motor.
ANY two units, no matter what the brand, will cross-talk when their sonar pulses overlap.
