? Okla castnet size limits

? Okla castnet size limits - 05/10/08 11:30 AM

I've been told that my 7' radius castnet is illegal at the Oklahoma side of lake Texohma. The only reg. I see that the Okla wildlife rules states 1 regulation no mesh larger than 3/8".
Does anyone know what the max radius castnet reg is in Oklahoma and what reg applies to LAKE TEXOHMA.

I know that 10' radius nets are legal...but I did not look into anything larger since I was not going to throw anything larger.

I know for a fact that the Okie guides throw 10' nets when it gets hot and they got to get the shad deep.

7' radius is all you can throw in TX.
Oh...and Texoma does not have an "H" in the spelling smile smile

10' radius = approx 20' diameter that's giant. I cut 1.5' off my old 8.5' 2" mesh Mississippi mullet net to 7' to meet TX regs for gulf use. That 7' reg is too small for mullet fishing for large baits.
