Does anyone have any firsthand experience with the Active Imaging 3-N-1 nosecone? Before I buy I’d like to hear some firsthand experience, good and bad, of this nosecone transducer. Everything I read from Lowrance is obviously great but we are the real test and critic. All replies are appreciated!

I have one, it’s ok. It is 1 1/2”-2” longer than the HDI nosecone, if you have a tight boat cover, it could cause you a problem.

The 360 feature is kinda cool if you have a light wind, unfortunately I haven’t used it during a light wind, only gale force winds.

I have active target also, the 3-1 nosecone was kinda a waste of money, but I was curious about it.

I get a good image on the sidescan and like the Ghost 360. I have no issues with my boat cover going on after installing 3-1 Nosecone.

For the cost of a AI3-1 Nosecone is another tool that works very well. IF I am in a big open area I use that to zero in on structure then go to AT, The great thing is there is no right or wrong way where you use your tools as everybody fishes different. Better to have it for the low cost then not. Besides your big investment has already happened the Ghost. Enjoy.
