Talon stomp switches

Replaced my pre blue tooth talons with new ones. I have to hit the stomp switches many times before they finally work. Changed batteries but same problem. Marine dealer says that's the way they are. Anyone find a solution to the problem?

i am sure you know this already it is a double stomp to go down and then be patient
if you hit it again it will stop them from coming down mine i have to to be real patient
