Minn Kota

I’m buying a 2016 Ranger RT 188. It currently has two Helix 7 units w/ side scan, one at console, the other at the bow. The trolling motor, I think, is a Fortrex which doesn’t have Spot Lock. My question to y’all is this: What trolling motor would you recommend that has I Pilot, Spot Lock, etc., keeping in mind that probably only 70/80 lb. of thrust is needed and it needs to be a 24 V ? I realize that TMs are hard to come by right now, but I’ll live with the one that’s on it until I can get the one I need. Thanks for your input.

Thanks, I was looking at MK website last night. Seems like they make it a little tough to find exactly what you’re looking for. This one comes with that and that one comes with this, but neither of them is exactly what you want. I’m still alookin’

Are your Helix 7's G2N or G3N? If yes then you might want to consider getting the Minn Kota Ulterra or Ultrex with the iPilot Link. If not you would not need the iPilot Link and could get the Terrova. All three have spot lock.

You can try Jack at Thunderbolt Electronics to see what he has in stock. He has a lot of knowledge when it comes to trolling motors.
