Battery Type Selection: Each charging bank can be selected to your specific battery type (AGM, gel or flooded lead acid) to guarantee a safe, protected charge.

Some chargers have a switch or button for each bank to allow you to specifically select "flooded" battery or "AGM" or, in some cases, gel.

Yours may or may not have such a selector. Download the manual for your Minn Kota charger from the MK website. Read it. If there are selections to be made, the manual will tell you.

The Minn Kota Digital series doesn't have any buttons or switches it is an auto detect or at least my MK330D is. My understanding the PC series does have a button to select AGM or wet cell. As Flippin said if you don't have a manual download one. My MK Digital work great.

My 2014 MK460 is selectable. AGM setting will work with Lithium also.
