Quick release for Ultrex

If you have an Ultrex and have a quick release mount (for ease in taking off for security or to take for repairs). Which brand do you have and does it work as you expected?

I purchased the quick mount sold by Minn Kota but the folks that installed the trolling motor advised me to return the quick mount since the business end of the trolling motor is easily separated from the mount. The only thing that remains on the boat is the base which would not be needed for maintenance purposes and would not be easily removed. So it really makes little sense to purchase a quick release mount. Save your money. Good luck.

It’s only one bolt to remove it as it comes from MinnKota.
