Which electronics do I get? - 11/24/19 07:50 PM
I am buying my first brand new center console on Tuesday. I need to decide which electronics I want put in the boat. I primarily fish for Striper, Hybrid, and Sand Bass. Looking to stay in the $1000-$1500 price range. Any info is appreciated.

To many variables. All the major brands are pretty comparable. Do you want side imaging, panoptics, etc. Get the largest screen that you can afford. Best thing for you is to go visit each companies website and see what options they offer and what you are interested in otherwise it turns into a Chevy vs Ford debate.

Another suggestion is go to a place like Bass Pro that has them on display. Push some buttons/touch the screen and see which you are comfortable trying to learn how to operate.

That is no sale, you can purchase it for that MSRP price from Humminbird.
Steer clear of the Factory Outlet Store. Many people believe they are actually dealing directly with Humminbird when in fact they are not...We have heard some good and some very bad experiences with this outfit.

If you Google Lowrance factory outlet store, it's the same place.
Do the same with Samsung====same place.
The site is factoryoutletstore.com, just put any brand name at the beginning.
Their "sale" price is what the MSRP is, just has an inflated "Reg. price"

Someone stole my helix 9 so I ordered another one from hummingbird. The new one wouldnt power on and the screen was cracked. Called humminbird, said they were sorry and sent me a new 10 inch helix for the trouble.
In your price range take a serious look at the Lowrance Elite Ti2 7 with Active Imaging transducer.
