Ultrex with HDS Live

Cabelas installed this combo and the structure scan transducer was placed on the transom, so my front graph is showing the back of the boat. Can I just get an adapter and plug the HDS Live into the Ultrex's universal sonar? I know I will lose some benefits, but when I am in shallow water, I would rather know how deep it is under the TM than at the back of the boat.

I guess I can get a bracket that will actually mount the structure scan under the TM foot as well? But for the sort term, I'm wondering if I can just plug it in directly (with an adapter I'm sure) to the Ultrex?

I would assume they still make a US2 adapter, I had one for my old Terrova. The US2 transducer works fine, just make sure you select “generic 83/200” in the sonar installation menu.

The US2 10 will not work by itself. You will also need the Lowrance 7 pin to 9 pin adapter in addition to the us2 cable. The HDS live has a 9 pin blue connector not the standard 7 pin like previous hds models.
