Need help with a sunshine bait tank - 10/07/18 09:25 PM
I have an older Sunshine bait tank I have acquired. I have tried to use it once but don’t think I had the filter side set up right as it kept getting stopped up pretty frequently when I had shad in the tank. My question is do I use a charcoal filter in the top or bottom filter box or not at all? When I ran it before I used a poly fill type material in the upper and lower filter boxes and feel like this is incorrect. Sunshine no longer makes these tanks so I can’t ask him and was hoping one of y’all would have some advice.

The polyfill goes in the bottom part. The one inside catches scales and junk, rinse it as needed when in use.

Make sure you have a hole in the middle of all your filters or it will clog up almost immediately.

I hate to revive an old thread, but is there any way you could show a picture of how your Sunshine tank is plumbed? I acquired a sunshine tank with a boat purchase and the pump is just loose in the bottom and I want to make sure I set it up correctly!
Thanks
