HB 360 TM mounted

looking to add one but have a question about removing the unit, when staying at hotels, etc.. I can't find any type of way to lock/secure the unit all the time. My question is can you remove it and put in truck and then install again the next day?

Or how does everyone keep their secured at night? Are there any locks out there for this unit?

It has a quick release on it to remove it. You would need to figure on the wiring and cables connected to your boat with some type of connector to make it removable. It's easy to remove if it is the original. If it is too the ultrex, it has a little different mounting system so not sure if it is as easy to remove.

The Ultrex version takes loosening the three clamp bolts to remove it. The motor bracket stays attached to the motor.

this is a follow up to another post but what other cable is needed for the TM 360 besides the AS EC QDE cable? This cable has a male connection and so does the cable coming from the 360 - any help would be very much appreciated.
