Humminbird Helix Sonar Manual written for anglers

Humminbird Helix Sonar Manual written for anglers - 11/16/17 03:59 PM

I have for sale a Humminbird Helix manual designed for anglers. The manual is 7 Chapters and 60 single-sided 8.5" by 11" pages with black & white and color images. The manual goes through every tab in the Helix Menu and into detail about specific settings and why I recommend those settings.

GPS and mapping, Helix Tabs and settings, Basic Sonar Shapes, a chapter dedicated to sonar interpretation, and understanding the 2-Dimensional image compression of a 3-Dimensional environment. Chapters using real sonar screens with explanations and interpretations to help you learn to better your skills at reading echo returns and included are practice screen shots.

There is a chapter that goes into Side and Down Imaging also. To give you a better understanding and explanation of what the screen can show you and how to read it.

This manual is designed be more user friendly and help anglers get more from their Sonar/Chartplotters and less technical than the supplied manuals that accompanied your units. In order to get the most benefit, I recommend using both together. For topics that you want the more information on, refer to the owner's manual to get technical specifics about a particular setting or feature.

Cost of the manual is $40 shipped to your door. I only have 15 remaining out of the 100 published.

Capt Craig helped turn the light bulb on when it came to interpreting sonar returns. It was a great 2 hour trip.

For all of you that ordered last week, all manuals were shipped yesterday. You should get them soon. Thank you very much and if you have any questions just let me know.

For those wanting one-to-one Humminbird lessons in your boat, that is available. A standard 2-hour class costs $100 (same rate as previous years). We will go over all settings, tabs and interpretation and use. We also go out to a couple of areas and tune the unit. I go over SI, DI, and sonar function and interpretation. All classes taught here on Richland-Chambers in a protected cove.

Craig's 2 hour trip is the nads. two hours flies by and there is lots of info and expertise. It's easy to go into information overload.I'm thinking about doing it again this spring just for a refresher. His booklet is well worth the price.
Now if I could get him to come down to Travis and help me find fish here
