Alan Henry Working Man's T 10/6 - 10/03/17 03:20 AM

We are holding the AH Working Man's T from 6:30 to 10:30 this Friday night on 10/6. $20 entry fee per individual and an optional $5 big bass pot. 3 fish limit, so if you keep 3,one must be 18" or longer. Last time it was tuff fishing, with a winning fish and stringer of .59 lbs. 2nd place was .50 lbs, but we only had 7 people fish, so we only paid one place. If 9 or less fish, we pay 1 place, 10 to 29 fish, 70/30, if over 30 people fish, 65/25/10. Come on out and join use for the next to last T this year. If you have questions or need information, call at 806-786-3766 PM me here or email at thadrains@aol.com. We look forward to seeing you out there. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Sorry I am so late to write the report. We had 6 fishermen show up and 1 guy had 3, 2 overs and an under. He had 6.91 lbs. All the rest of us threw our 2 fish limits back. Big one weighed over 3.5 maybe 4 lbs, but didn't get a weight on him because no one else had anything like her. All spots caught on a 130 Whoopper Plopper. I was using a different color 130 and couldn't get bit, so color DOES matter sometimes. We have one more to fish, the 3rd Friday of this month and then we are calling it quits for this year. Since no one is showing up to fish, I will probably not hold them nexet year. If we were maintaining an 8-10 or even 12 person T, I would consider holding them next year, but with only 7,7 and 6 showing up to fish, I feel it is a waste of time to hold them. Any thoughts or inputs would be appreciated. Hope this helps. OH, my 2 fish for around 3 lbs were caught on a Tx rigged worm, fished in 4-12' and on a 4" senko baby bass pattern. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
