Just curious and always wanted to know, who makes the decision where to hold the Championship? Shouldn't the members be able to nominate or cast a vote, or was this already done at Palestine this year? Thanks

The Championship on the Red River had been set for some time and it was announced at the TBC Championship at Palestine. A lot of the members of the TBC were asked for their input and all asked were 100% behind the location. We work hard as most trails do to put on the very best Championship possible for the members that fish with us. Hey Tommy the red river is a 12 in min fishery are we going to go with a 12 in min?

Does this count for all Texas Bass Couples divisions? I'm assuming it does. Also, I'm also guessing since Bass Champs came here twice in a row theres a good chance they will be coming back. If that's the case this will be during the off limits period. Is that just a too bad scenario for the couples or is that kinda stuff kinda worked out before hand?

The Bass Champs Trail will not be going to the Red River Next. This was all worked out before the TBC made it's choice. The Red River is an exciting fishery that is a great place to hold a Championship Tournament and the Texas Bass Couples is ready for the adventure.

Looking forward to attending this championship, been there twice this year with the BASS Open and the ABA Regional Championship and the Red River is a great fishery. Hope we do hold the 12" length.

Been to the Red several times and enjoyed it. Accommodations at Red River South are second to none. You don't get two Bassmaster Classics and Forest Wood Cup without doing something right. Looking forward to it.

I think that would be an awesome place to have a couples tournament and to have a fun weekend at the casinos. I would love to fish a couples series but until we get a trail that starts fishing at 11 o'clock, I don't think my wife will go for it.

Hey Louie, come to Palestine this weekend and fish with the Northeast. You know we have fun.

yessir I know. After looking at the schedule though my wife and I have our kids just about every weekend of yalls tournaments!! Moneys tight this year too so it will save us a little at Fork since we already have a trailer there. Although fishing tourneys there stinks.. I just want to go back to the Red River!
