Hello All!
The 2014 North Central Region Tournament Trail will kick off its first event of the year on beautiful Eagle Mountain Lake, (

It seems like it’s been an eternity of cold weather in our great State, but now appears that we are in store for some fairly decent weather and there are signs all around the those green fish are starting their yearly navigation to the banks. That should equate into some awesome sacks of fish brought to the scales at the conclusion of this event. All North Central Region events are Boater and Co-Angler events, which allows for maximum participation and learning opportunities along the way. If you have not attended one of these events, I encourage you to come out and give the format a try, either as a Boater or a Co-Angler. I promise you that you will enjoy the competitive, family type atmosphere. I have made many friends through spending hours on the water with someone, and I know you can too. Stop # 2 is located on Lake Waco – April 27th, Stop # 3 is located on Cedar Creek – May 18th, and Stop #4 is located on Lake Limestone – June 1.
The tournament location was originally set to be at Lakeview Marina, however, after numerous checks there is only 1 boat ramp lane left open at that location and there it’s shallow. Effective immediately, the tournament location is being moved to the Twin Points Boat Ramp (
http://www.eaglemountainlake.org/twin-points-boat-ramp/) to assure maximum safety.
If you are looking for a nice place to camp out for the night, some locals have recommended the La Quinta Inn and Suites located just off 820 in Northwest Ft. Worth, just a few minutes’ drive from the lake (
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-...orth_Texas.html). There are some other options along Hwy 199 leading out to the lake, but I would caution to take everything in the room with you regardless of where you stay. Although the Police across the State have been trying, not all crooks have been locked up in prisons just yet.
State Dues must be paid by the Club in order for anglers to participate at Region events and the State Top Six. To date the following clubs have completed their State Dues registrations:
