Texas Bass Couples "East Region" 2013 Tournament Schedule

October 14, 2012: Early Bird Tournament on Lake Fork. This will be a "Two Team" draw tournament. We will have 2 of each boat number in the bag. Teams will draw and be matched up by boat number. Team weights will be added together and winners takes the pot. Couples can come fish this tournament just to check us out, or if you join Texas Bass Couples for the 2013 season, you will receive 50 points toward qualification for the 2013 Championship Tournament. This applies to couples from other TBC Regions as well. We will be fishing out of Oakridge Marina. Entry fee is $60.00 per team. $5.00 of each entry will go toward the Big Bass payout. We will also have a Ladies Big Bass prize and a "Smallest Bass" award!

January 27, 2013: Martin Creek Lake. If the water level is too low at Martin Creek we will move to Perky. Headquarters at Martin Creek State Park.

February 24, 2013: Lake 'O' Pines. Headquarters at Cedar Springs Ramp.

March 24, 2013: Lake Bob Sandlin. Headquarters at Titus County Ramp.

April 28, 2013: Caddo Lake. Headquarters at Shady Glade Resort.

May 19, 2013: Lake Palestine. Headquarters at Lake Palestine Marina.

June 9, 2013: Lake Hawkins. Headquarters at Lake Hawkins County Park.

The 2013 Championship Tournament is scheduled on Lake Limestone in September 2013.

The Texas Bass Couples have a few regions that fish on Saturday. Just check with the director in your area and see if they hold their tournament on a day that you are able to fish.

October 14, 2012: Early Bird Tournament on Lake Fork. We will be joining you for this fun tournament. We got our rooms at Oakridge Marina and they still have a few rooms left.See ya there Tommie it should be some great fishing.

Ok Jimmy, step up and post the 2013 Texas Bass Couples Metro Division lakes. And maybe a fun tournament in late October or November because we usually dont have winters here in Texas.

We would really like to join you all, but I will be in Huntsville at Sam Houston State University for a conference during that time. Thanks for the invite.

I think its at Oakridge Marine, wife and I are thinking about coming to this one also just ot check you guys out. IF Skeeter Marine and his Better Half is going to be there, I want at least beat them.

The host ramp is Oakridge Marina. You need to call them and make arrangements for one of their rooms if you are planning on coming up early and staying a few days. This will be a fun event. See ya'll there!

Getting close to the Early Bird Tournament on Lake Fork...........

Couples that fish this tournament and join the Texas Bass Coupes will receive an extra 50 points toward qualification for the 2013 Championship Tournament. This applies to all TBC members from other regions as well.

That way if something happens that you can't fish a tournament or two in 2013 you still have a great chance of qualifying and being able to compete in the Championship Tournament in September.

We will be fishing out of Oakridge Marina on October 14th. Come on out and enjoy a day of fishing on beautiful Lake Fork.

My wife and I will be staying at Oak Ridge Marina, so we will be set up and ready for registrations by 5:30 AM on the 14th. For anyone staying at Oak Ridge Marina or surrounding Fork lodging, you can come by Oak Ridge on Saturday afternoon and pre-register if you like.

This will be a 2 team draw tournament. Two of each boat number will be in the bag. Teams weights will be added together and the winning two teams split the $$$ pot.

The Early Bird Tournament was a blast and we had 15 couples, which we though was good considering the weather and other tournaments on the same day.

Now......January will be here before you know it. Make plans to join us on January 27th at Martin Creek if water levels will allow us to fish there. If not, we will relocate to Perky Lake.

We averaged right at 20 teams per tournament this year. Been steadily growing every year. We would love to have you and your wife come out and fish with us. We have a great group of couples and we try to make it a fun experience for everyone involved.

Ok everyone..........our January tournament is just a few short weeks away. After visiting Martin Creek today to see what the water level and ramp looks like, we are moving ahead as planned and will fish Martin Creek on January 27th. We are the only Tournament Trail with the proper "tournament permit" fishing on the 27th.

Hopefully we will get some more much needed rains before the tournament this month. We will be at the ramp around 5:30 to 5:45 AM on the 27th and will have plenty of membership and entry forms. I have also distributed new "flyers" with membership and entry forms to the Longview Boat dealers, Tiny's Fiberglass Repair and East Texas Sonar. I will be putting new flyers at R&R Marine, Lake Fork Tackle, Steve's Custom Props and Big Earl's Bait House in the next day or two.

We are looking forward to an exciting and fun tournament season this year. If you are looking for a tournament experience that you and your female partner can enjoy together, give the Texas Bass Couples a try.

I'm not a member yet but if i want to fish bob sandlin how much do i have to pay?

Membership is open at anytime during the tournament year and if joining after the conclusion of the first tournament in a region, payment will be membership dues ($35.00) plus the next two consecutive tournaments entry fees. No more than two qualifying events may be fished entered by only one member of the
same team a substitute family member may fish as a replacement partner in those
two tournaments. The first tournament for each couple must be fished together.
2. Entry Fees: Each couple is required to pay an entry fee of $85 before fishing in a tournament. $5 of each team entry goes toward the Championship and $5 goes to
Big Bass.
Total of $205.00 for the Bob Sandlin Tournament and you will be paid for the Caddo Lake Tournament also.
