Lake Tyler Spring Teams Series Format Poll - 01/24/12 03:12 AM

We have released a full set of Sunday dates for our Spring Teams Series on Lake Tyler in 2012, not our choice but that was all that was available that fit our other scheduled events.
After running Saturdays open and receiving some feedback from the anglers many have requested that we move these to Saturdays.
The purpose of this pole is to get feedback from the Lake Tyler anglers who will be fishing these events, thus I will allow everyone to view the results without voting if you are not planning on fishing them.
After polling your opinion please reply with a post to let me know you have added your opinions and at that time you may add any additional comments.
Our goal is to format this series to the preferances of as many of the participating anglers as possible.
And I just noticed there is no longer a poll option below.

Here are the Saturday dates we will be using. I can make many of these events and for the couple I cannot Robert Lane has offered his help for the weigh ins.

These events will have a $130 Team Entry that includes BB
Paying back 1 in 5 places @ 85%
$30 Membership Per Angler w/70% of these funds paid back at Championship.
There will be a one day Championship on Lake Tyler with a $160 entry for all anglers who fished a minimum of 4 of the 5 qualifiers.
Points will be calculated for AOY race, the team who fished all 5 qualifiers with the highest points total will receive free entry in 2013 Tyler Teams Series.

Saturday dates we can work with.
Saturday February 11, 2012
Saturday March 24, 2012
Saturday April 28, 2012
Saturday May 19, 2012
Saturday June 16, 2012
Championship Saturday July 7, 2012

So here we go, copy and paste the portion below and text answer in your reply.
1. I would prefer the Saturday schedule. Y/N
2. I prefer Sundays due to my work schedule. Y/N
3. If events are ran on Saturday would you like a 5 day off limits. Y/N
4. I am OK with local guides fishing the Tyler events. Y/N

Submit any other ideas or opinions as well.

Thanks
Mark Howard

OK guys I am hearing you on the two day championship, we can do that.
Its a mixed bag on tournaments on Saturdays or Sundays.

If I run a mixed format, some events on Saturday and some on Sunday I can be there for most if not all of them.

1. Saturday February 11, 2012
2. Saturday March 24, 2012
3. Sunday April 15, 2012
4. Saturday May 19, 2012 We will be there for registration, Robert Lane will run weigh in.
5. Sunday June 10, 2012
Championship Saturday and Sunday July 7-8

This is the direction I would like to go with it.
No Off limits
Give me your opinions. I will make a final decision this evening.

i think that would be a good mixture. im good with it. the two day championship was the real big kicker.

Re: Lake Tyler Spring Teams Series Format Poll - 01/25/12 12:09 AM

I think u should have them either on Saturdays or on Sundays not some on Saturday and some on Sunday,it gets to confusing. I know some guys like fishing on Saturday bc they go to church on Sundays, but some guys work on Saturday so they want to fish on Sundays. It's doesn't matter to me but if I have to pick one I would say Sunday.
P.S. NO OFF LIMITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prefer Saturdays. Probably won't fish on Sundays. Church ya know. What does the JC in JCOutdoors stand for?

Re: Lake Tyler Spring Teams Series Format Poll - 01/25/12 01:40 AM

J C is for The J C, Jesus Christ! We use these events as a subtle out of the box ministry as well as tournament hosting.

I do appreciate your dedication to your church on Sundays. I do not prefer to have events on Sundays but there is only one of me and only so many weekend days and we sometimes have to.

Be Blessed
Mark
