i was there in october and hung a frekin goat redfish on a crankbait. i have no idea how big that thing might have been.

Gonna be a busy little lake. Arlington Bass Club will be there as well. Wish I could fish Big Bass Fun also, but the weigh in time is the same as ABC.

So Poormans, BBFT, and Arlington Bass Club all on the same day and only one ramp on the lake open that only has one useable lane.... I guess we had better get there early!

We were there last Saturday. Caught a limit of fish and it was not easy. The ramp really is terrible. The lake could use about 3 feet of water. Stay in the middle of the ramp.

heard from a couple guys at a tournament yesterday that no one weighed in a keeper, they said they cuaght plenty of unders but no overs. they said there was 30 or so boats

we were there sunday same for us no keepers. were not in the tourney

What water temps were you gettin there bassguy?

they said on the outlet it was 67 and down by the damn it was in the mid 50's

I am going down in the morning, will check it out and make a post. I have never been on this lake, any hazards to look out for?

The timber on each major creek arm is pretty much visible at the current level, once you start getting close to the stumps go ahead and shut down and idle. Other than that theres a couple of long points, just give them a little respect while running and you will be fine.

Was out there today and yesterday 4 fish yesterday and 10 today no keepers. The water at the discharge was 67 and around 54 towards the dam. Saw Bill Wilcox today trying to film and he too was struggling they had 1 keeper when I talked to them at 10am and they left about an hour later. Not sure what the fish are doing but I'll be there to donate... I'm sure someone will figure them out!!

Yes we are using the north ramp, one lane ramp so we will have to be patient.

what time will they let u in down there.do they close the gate at night.i want to get there eary and miss the crowd.

you can get in anytime just fill out tag and put money in slot at gate,beside door.well you use to be able to havent been there in few years.

2) Using the NORTH ramp and not the south.
3) It's gonna rain.
4) There are two pots: bass $21, redfish $10
5) There is also a drawing for a jerky maker
6) Fishing is tough right now.

i didnt make it as it was raining when i got up and it scared me back to bed. I did ease out there for the heck of it fished from 10 to 2 and it was tough for me. caught one that weight bout 4 lbs on a jig in the grass, guess i saved myself some money. What was the results?

i had one 4 lbs also .but 1t was 17 3/4 "....but i never found anyone too sign up with.

there were a bunch of guys stopping by the poormans tournament tent looking to sign up with the BBFT, unfortunately we didn't know what to tell 'em. I'm not sure what ended up on that deal, but arlington bass laucned before 6am, Poormans laucnhed before 7am, and it appeared the BBFTers were meandering about the state park looking for someone who would take their money!Sounds like it got all worked out in the end.
