On this weeks episode of As The Worth Turns… The lake is on FIRE!!! 7 bags over 10 lbs last week and some solid bags on Saturday, 21, 20, 19.5, and 18 lbs. if we survive the Sahara dust storm, get out to Lake Worth on Wednesday and join us for some weeknight fun! Seriously guys, if Lee and Stinson can win anyone can! this week, will Macey allow Jacob to fish? (Rumor has it he’s grounded for not cleaning his room) Will team Bootxander (aka Team Dominator) return to the top spot? Those Neighbors boys are due, is it their week? Why don’t fish live in Lilly pads? Is it true the Lake Worth Goatman is fishing this week? Manbearpig sighting in hidden lake? A squatch, a goatman, gators, manbearpig, and a Sahara Dust Storm… how can you not join in on all this excitement? See you at the ramp!

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 06/20/22 03:01 PM

This weeks episode of as the Worth Turns…. holy cow it’s hot! Great news is the lowest temp of the week is on Wednesday, only 99! I know, Thats like getting excited over $4.61 a gallon gas… sounds good after $4.89 but still hurts in the anal region. Roach and Repola together again, can they pull off back to back? Will everyone else in the tournament hole jump em this week? According to a poll taken by TMC Sports the overwhelming majority of Americans believe that Lake Worth is the most amazing lake in Texas that both I-820 and HWY 199 cross. Bamsmaster Magazine named Lake Worth the number 1 fishing destination in the entire city of Lake Worth! How can you pass up an opportunity to fish a body of water with these incredible accolades? Come on out Wednesday night and join us, as always registration starts about 430 pm, runs to 545 pm. Fishing times are 6pm to 930pm. See y’all there!

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 07/05/22 07:10 PM

This week on As the Worth Turns… water so hot when you flip a bass in the boat it comes with hushpuppies and a side of fries. It’s not going to get any cooler in the foreseeable future so get yourself hydrated today and come fish tomorrow!! Can Neighbors make it to the ramp on time and go back to back? Team Bootxander disappeared faster than the bite in the river… where’d they go?? Captured by the goatman? Being restrained by the Lake Worth Monster as love slaves? Will there be a Repola Squatch sighting this week? The only way to find out what it’s all about is to come fish with us! Registration starts at 430 pm and goes to 545 pm. First cast 6 pm must be back at ramp by 930pm. See you there!

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 08/03/22 09:46 AM

On this weeks episode of As The Worth Turns….Thrills, Spills, Chills, and Action Galore! That’s what you can expect each and every week at the 820 boat ramp for the Lake Worth Workingman’s Tournament. Don’t let the heat or the lake levels scare you off, ramps are still good and the wind is going to blow just enough to make it bearable Wednesday. It took a whopping 1.60 lbs to get paid last week… that’s $60 for a 1.60 lb fish, thanks to Classic Of Arlington. Including this weeks tournament there are only 5 left, that’s only 5 more chances to get qualified for our 2 day championship tournament in September. This week we expect the Repolasquatch to return and everyone to be on their A game to give the most dominant team in DFW, Ferrell and Braddock, a run for their money. What ever happened to that team that was so awesome earlier in the year? Yall remember them? Boot something Xander ??? or something like that?? Are those guys still alive and kicking? I heard they took up crappie fishing with cane poles, any truth to the rumor? Regardless, get yourself hydrated and come on out Wednesday night for some weeknight fun time on the lake…. MAYBE the fish will bite, but even if they’re stingy it may only take 1 to get you paid! See yall there!
Posted By: buda13

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 08/15/22 11:33 AM

Only 3 tournaments left… so only 3 more Wednesday’s to qualify for our 2 day championship tournament on September 17th and 18th.
Posted By: buda13

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 08/22/22 01:39 PM

This weeks episode of As The Worth Turns… ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT…. That’s the final 2 chances to qualify for our 2 day championship, you must fish one event to qualify!

But I know that’s not what yall want to talk about….. For the first time in what seems like months we are less than 2’ low and still rising. Where’s it going to top out? Are we going from 2.5’ low to over pool and closed? Will this frog strangler flush the goat man out of hiding in the nature center? Will Jon really eat a minnow? No idea, but I suspect this week will be one of the most enjoyable evenings on the ole pond we’ve had in quite some time so get your bass to the ramp! Remember, Bamsmaster Magazine did name Worth the best fishery in the nation that both I-820 and HWY 199 cross. Hope to see you all there Wednesday evening, registration starts at 430 and ends at 545, first cast at 6pm must be back inside the buoys by 930pm.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…. Next week is our LAST Wednesday night tournament of 2022. We’re bringing back the smallest keeper bonus next week and cutting the time back to 9pm. If you have not fished with us this year, next week is your last chance to get qualified for our 2 day championship tournament September 17th and 18th.

Re: 2022 Lake Worth Workingmans Series - 08/29/22 04:54 PM

In typical As The Worth Turns fashion we’re going out with a BANG! MAKE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR CLASSIC OF ARLINGTON GEAR… SHIRT, BUFF, THONG, WHATEVER YOU HAVE!!! Random Give A Ways of unspeakable value (exact words of our sponsor) will be handed out to folks wearing Classic gear. Don’t miss your chance to get in on some of that! $50 Bonus for the lightest keeper bass (14” min) is back for the last tournament! The lake is falling faster than Braddock for a stripper…. but she’ll still be at a good level for and the fishing has only improved since last week. Last week saw the reappearance of Bootxander, rumor has it they still have at least one lower unit with a skeg and prop so we hope to see them again this week. Where’s Repolasquatch been? According to TMC Sports he’s been sidelined with an injured back, hidden camera footage has surfaced showing the injury actually occurred while trying to remove burlap sacks full of squatch fur from the shower drain. Gillock, yeah we haven’t forgotten about you and that glorious shiny melon… or our good friend and old pal Jeff who likes to park sideways across the boat lane. Where’s that Hook guy not catching them at these days? How many Hollingsheads and how many boats will they be in this week? You know the deal, to get the answers to those amazing questions get your BASS to the ramp Wednesday and join us for our last weeknight event of the year. Lets make it the best one yet! More details below…

TOURNAMENT HOURS THIS WEEK ARE 6PM to 9PM
