5th Anual Fishin and Fun Bass Tournament Presented by the Paige Lions Club at Big Creek Marina, Lake Somerville, Texas - 06/09/20 01:38 AM

Dear Anglers,

The 5th Annual Paige Lions Club Fishin and Fun Bass Tournament will take place October 10th and 11th 2020 at Big Creek Marina and Campground on Lake Somerville. Address is 13900 Cedar Drive, Somerville, TX 77879. We moved to a later date this year because of the COVID-19 virus. We would like to thank all of the new teams that participated last year and hope we see even more new faces this year along with last years contestants, and of course we thank the teams that come out every year and support this great cause.

We would also like to thank all of our great sponsors this year that help make this a successful tournament: Bluebonnet Electric, J. Irwin Company, Paige Aire, Justin Iselt Bulldozing, First National Bank of Bastrop, D.B.I., Polaris Fun Center with locations in Bryan and Bastrop, and Round Top State Bank.

We encourage all teams to camp, bring your families to the BBQ, and enjoy some great food and great music. Details below:

2 Person Teams - 2 Days fishing
$200.00 Entry fee per team - Entry Fee and application are due by September 28th, 2020

Saturday, October 10th
Launch - Breakfast tacos and coffee will be served
Sunrise - Fishing (horn release)
3:00 PM - Weigh in (5 fish per team)
3:30 PM - Beer and Fish stories at the pavilion
5:00 PM - 10:00 PM - BBQ Meal for teams and families - Music

Sunday, October 11th
Launch - Donuts and coffee
Sunrise - Fishing (horn release)
12:00 Noon - Weigh in (5 fish per team)
Awards

Prizes
$1,000.00 - First place team - Total weigh in both days
$500.00 - Second place team - Total weigh in both days
$300.00 - Third place team - Total weigh in both days
$250.00 - Big Bass Saturday
$250.00 - Big Bass Sunday
$200.00 - Empty Well: If your team did not win anything, we will draw for this prize after the Sunday weigh in - MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
