Lake Fork Spring Teams #3 - 04/23/20 05:51 PM

Lake Fork Spring Teams #3 Make up for Team Tournament originally scheduled for April 18, 2020.

We know this is short notice and some anglers already had other obligations for this Saturday. We are adjusting championship qualifying requirements for all of our 2020 Spring Teams/Solo events in consideration that some may not be able to attend all events in a series due to cancellation and reschedule dates.

We want to encourage as many who can to register Friday evening to reduce registration numbers on Saturday morning. We will be doing registration Friday evening from 6 PM-8 PM at our travel trailer directly behind the Minnow Bucket Marina restaurant (first trailer next to the dumpster).

Registration will be conducted at 5:00 AM Saturday morning inside the restaurant, please only one angler per team in registration line and we must observe 6' social distance requirements as well as minimum of 5 anglers in the line inside the store. Others must remain outside until a space opens up. We will have cones placed at 6' intervals for safe distancing.

We also have entry forms and membership forms available just inside the front door at the store that you can grab and fill out prior to getting in line.

$110 Team Entry Includes BB
$50 Optional Side Pot
$40 Membership Per Angler for anglers age 17 or over.

Tournament Hours: Leave Lake Fork Ramp of Choice at 6:20 AM All Fishing Ceases at 3:00 PM and Anglers Can Proceed to Weigh In. The weigh in procedure will be conducted under the pavilion but we cannot have spectators or anglers grouped up under the pavilion.

The weigh in process will be as follows. We will extend the weigh in procedure to 4:00 PM or until all anglers have had time to weigh their fish (no need to get chip checked until you approach the scales). We will have room for 2 anglers per tank for a total of 6 anglers at the tanks with anglers staged on opposite ends of each tank. We will have cones set up for an additional 4 anglers at 10' distance to wait on the next spot in line. Please remain at your boats until there is a spot open and please only 1 angler from each team in weigh line. If you have a picture worthy fish or limit please take photos at your boat and send them to me after the tournament. Once a team has weighed if you feel you are in check range return to your boat/truck and wait until conclusion of the tournament, all others please leave the premises as soon as possible after weighing your fish to reduce congestion on the parking lot. Please no congregating, remain at your boat/truck at a safe distance from all other anglers.

I know we can do this and follow all requirements and guidelines from Governor Abbott. Please register Friday Evening if at all possible. I will have a printed copy of these guidelines for all anglers at registration.
