Texas firefighter summer games tournament

I will be running the firefighter games tournament this year. The games will be in Lewisville and the derby is set for July 22nd. You must be a firefighter to compete, it is a team format and you can fish with a family member if your partner is not a firefighter.Those interested can go to the Texas firefighter games website to sign up. Also for those who are firefighters and interested can shoot me a text message of a lake within the DFW area that they would like to have the tournament on.

I was told the tournament was going to be on Lewisville. Is that going to change?

I am looking at lake options in the area. Lewisville gets very crowded in the summer with party boat traffic is why I am asking for other options.

The tournament is during the week. The lake will have very little traffic. 2yrs ago the Police games did their tourney same time of year and had no issues with 40+ boats. Over a month ago they said the tournament was on Lewisville. Why change that?

We held the Police Games there two years ago in June out of Lake Park with 52 boats and had zero issues. We hold ours during the week also and there was allot of foot traffic at weigh-in but nothing out of the ordinary for a weigh-in. We are fishing Palestine this year .
