TTO Lake Fork March 7, 2020

* Off limits begins at midnight on March 1st. Contestants may practice on Thursday, March 5th, and Friday, March 6th, as long as they have paid their entry online before launching their boats to practice.

* Early registration will be from 4-6 pm on Friday March 6th at Lake Fork Marina.

* If you sign up online, make sure that both new members are checked on the registration form (if you have not already fished with us and paid your membership fees) and please include proper emails and phone numbers. We will send notifications by text and email for details regarding tournaments.

* All teams must come by registration to draw boat numbers.

Is the tournament boat launch at Lake Fork Marina only? Or will this be trailered event?

Trailering event

We are there on the same date, thought I had avoided everyone else but it’s never 100% only one event. Let’s get together and coordinate if possible a lot of my regulars will want to double up.
Currently we are scheduled for trailering leave ramp of choice at 6:15AM all fishing ceases at 3:00 PM and anglers must be chip checked by 3:30PM at the Minnow Bucket Pavilion.
We will have our scales open at 2:00 PM and will return fish to those who are fishing both events.

Don’t forget we are in the off limits period for this event. Official practice is Thursday and Friday with a paid entry fee.

Jim are you planning to fish them both?

After considering all of the details between the 2 events such as venue locations, off-limits rules, AOY points race with added AOY bonus money, TTO has decided to not allow teams to fish both events. I sent an email out to all of our members regarding this and the majority does not like the idea of allowing this. It is nothing personal to anyone that wanted to do this but I feel that it is the best decision for TTO at this time.

When is your first cast for this event?

Boat requirements

All entered boats must have all safety items required by the United States Coast Guard, a permanently mounted aeration system and no extended or raised fishing decks above the gunnel. All outboards shall not exceed the maximum horsepower rating of the United States Coast Guard.
