Monday after the tournament I went to clean the boat and retie some of my lines. At the back drivers side of the boat is a big scratch only place it could have happened was while we were weighing in. Busted the rubber rub rail and left a white scratch in the fiberglass. You know who you are but I dont but the hitter was driving something white. Thanks for the big scratch on my boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a shame. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often in that parking lot though. Pretty chicken $h*t for someone to drive off after something like that...

I’m sorry to hear that I was the last one out of the parking lot and didn’t see anything suspicious. But I was also weighing fish while people were leaving. Hopefully we can get some info and get this settled out.

It hit the rub rail more that the fiberglass. Not a real big scratch but any scratch just makes you sick. I think the biggest thing is not manning up to something you caused. I can live with the scratch and I guess they can live with the fact that they hit something and just left like nothing happened. That is an old park and was not designed for double cab trucks and 20 foot boats. The way I was parked and the way it was hit it was with the front of a truck. If it was a boat backing up they were backing against the grain...
Have fun keep chunking and winding
May there be enough chop on the water to make the fish bite

Best $1000 i ever spent...kinda. Picked up my new boat last September on a Friday and we had a High School Tournament on Saturday. My son went to park the truck and trailer after i launched. It was 5AM and dark and he's 16 but has done this many times. He was taking forever so i decided to go check on him. I run into him about halfway up to the lot. He explains that it took so long because he was searching for a pen and piece of paper. He had clipped someones bumper while parking the truck and wanted to leave his name and number. It's 5 AM and dark...and the easy thing for him to do was just act like it never happened. But...he did exactly what he was supposed to do and i was extremely proud. Often times in life doing the RIGHT thing isn't the easiest thing...but it makes all the difference in the world when it comes to ones character.

Where were you parked? It was pretty tight in there during the weigh in. Sorry this happened, maybe they will see these posts and reach out.
