Lewisville Friday night working mans!

Starting May 10th 2019 and continues every Friday night through summer.
We will be at ramp around 5:30pm

Tower Bay Boat Ramp
6:30pm-10:30pm (shotgun start at 6:30)
3 fish
$40 for team 
$30 for single
We pay 1 place per 7 boats

All lake rules and regulations apply. Life jackets MUST be worn when the boat is on plane and the kill switch must be working and attached!

Weigh in will start at 10:15pm and weigh in line closes at 10:30pm.
As long as you're in line before 10:30pm and weigh in goes on past 10:30pm your fish will be weighed.
If you show up after 10:30pm your fish will not be weighed..

All boats entered are subject to a live well check.

In the rare case there's a tie, the money may be split or y'all can have a chicken fight in the lake, best of 3 takes it, you can also tell scary stories.. best story wins.. It will be your choice.

We had 6 boats that came out despite the conditions. Took a bit over 11lbs to win and big bass was at 7.17lbs see yall Friday.

I can’t speak for Justin, but there’s no boat driving license that I am aware of.. Unless it has something to do with being under age. You should text or call Justin and talk to him, he’s a great guy..

What won it last Friday?

I was there and I think I heard that 11 and some change won it. Somebody correct me if I heard wrong. I'm curious as to what the second and third place weights were as I did not hear those when I was at the weigh in.

I believe a little over 10 won. I got second with 9.70.

A little breezy last night but still had 13 boats. 1st place took 9.70lbs and second was 9.31lbs. Big bass came in at 8.70lbs. See yall next week....hopefully from Tower Bay..

I drove by TB today. It was great to watch boats launching. I hope I never have to use Arrow Head again. Not a fan at all. Praying for drought.

No speed limit, but I’ll bet there will be a bunch of boats out all night. I never run over 35-40mph after dark out there!

Yes, it's on tonight out of tower bay.. As for speed limit, I would go under 40. I've seen to many morons out there with no lights. I've also seen kayaks after dark with no lights so just give yourself time to react.

Not sure on 1st place, believe it was between 8 and 9.
2nd was 7.66 and 3rd was 7.44. The 7.44 was big bass
Fishing is still tough, but it is getting better
I dont remember how many boats, 17 to 20

How has the traffic been at the Tower Bay ramp? As congested as Arrowhead got? Loading up after 10pm at Arrowhead was a nightmare. We haven't been out since more ramps opened.

The only problem at Tower Bay is the people that take up 2 ramps and pull on the and take 20 minutes to get their [censored] together.. ohhhhh and the ones that won’t turn off their headlights..
Otherwise, it’s a lot better than Arrowhead and everyone that fishes the Friday night tournament are a pretty good group of guys...

21 boats tonight and Lewisville let some good sacks go. 1st was Keith cullum and son with 20.47lbs
2nd was Reed and Lance cullum with 12.79 and a 11.14lb big bass. 3rd was Charlie and Kyle with 12.29lbs. See yall next week..

I think 1st through 3rd were roughly 7.5#, 7#, and 6.5#. I think big bass was 3.95# or so.

Steve and Danny won with 8.11lbs. I apologize for not posting have been out of town. But I will see yall tonight!

In the past it’s always changed after time change.

May have 2 more on Friday night, we will move to Saturday's here pretty quick. It's getting dark early but I need to let all the guys that fish these and aren't on here know. I'll get a post up when we plan on starting Saturdays. Other than that I'll see yall tonight

I’d keep the Friday tournament going til time change before going to Saturday just too avoid more of the weekend idiots out there... Use to early morning was pretty much just fishermen out there but now there will be skiing already when I hit the lake on Saturday morning at daylight...

I will see y'all when it goes to Saturday, next year we need to start at 6pm for the month of September, 1 hour of daylight sucks, and 95% of us are at ramp waiting 30 min for take off any way. We are missing 30 min of prime fishing only to get stuck with a dead hour shortly after launch.

Any chance to change it to Sunday's?

This Friday October 4th will be the last Friday nighter for this year. We will be moving to Saturdays. I will create a new post with details.
