Bass Pro has their Hobbs Creek complete setup on sale for $119.99 instead of $149.99. I picked up a 9ft 5wt at the Grapevine store today. I haven't fished it yet, but seems like a nice little setup!
I learned on a 6 wt Hobbs Creek and it is a fine rod to learn on. You'll enjoy it.

HECK YEAH!! im leaning towards that or the TFO NXT series looks like a good starter setup!! gotta sell the ole gopro to get any of these though!!
